Ben Gelber is a Columbus, Ohio, meteorologist at NBC4. Ben grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and performed with East Stroudsburg Area High School Band and Wind Ensemble, under the direction of John Casagrande. At Penn State, he played the piano at campus events and did a little composing. In 2010, he formed an ensemble, Friday Night Live Music as a community music outreach program.
